Piana Delle Mandrie - Bovino

This place isn't the easiest place to find especially in the dark but it is certainly worth a visit The antipasti keeps coming the majority of it made there we even had a demonstration of cheese making during one of the courses. The food is of a high quality and plentiful in fact there is maybe too much of it! The room is rustic so don't expect too much there (and the toilets could do with a clean) but it's an interesting place and worth a trip out.

I visited this amazing place today with a group of friends. It is not easy to find so you need the GPS point. Well it is really well worth finding! We were greeted by a group of animals including several friendly dogs, a lovely cat plus a donkey!! We headed in to sit down and we were warmly welcomed even tho we had never been before. We started with the antipasto which is more or less a meal in itself, we had so ask them to stop!! Then we all ate the wonderful pasta with wild boar and my goodness, it was simply the best I had ever tasted!!! Full marks. We then tasted the roasted meat on a stick, and that was great too, and then a selection of the home made deserts which were also great. Before leaving we visited the cheese making shop and purchased several cheeses, they were priced at only 4 or 5 Euro per cheese so we could not resist taking a few home. And just to cap a wonderful visit they gave us a doggy bag with the food that we could not eat!! GREAT place, people and food.

Dopo la bellissima esperienza alla cascina Savino per la visita ai campi di tulipani, siamo andati a visitare Bovino e pranzare alla Fattoria Piana delle Mandrie. Siamo rimasti entusiasti da tutto. Professionalità, gentilezza e soprattutto dalla bontà dei piatti e dalla genuinità delle materie prime. Un'esperienza da ripetere in estate. Una menzione speciale va a Nicola e al bravissimo Pietro che ci hanno mostrato con quanta passione e competenza si può svolgere questo lavoro. Voto 10 e lode. #

Un delizioso agriturismo. Personale disponibile gentile. Un pranzo veramente piacevole tutto di ottima qualità, formaggi deliziosi fatti da loro. Alla fine del pranzo ci hanno anche deliziato con la mozzarella fatta al momento squisita. Ovviamente dopo il pranzo abbiamo chiesto di comprare i loro formaggi ed anche la salsiccia. I bambini felici della spumeggiante e gentilissima Tina che li ha accompagnati in un bel giro di tutti gli animali ed infine di palloncini. Veramente e lode. Ci torneremo presto. Complimenti
