The Real Greek - Bournemouth

We were a little late, but they brought us in. Oh, boy, we were happy! the service was very attentive. eating came in good time, despite how busy it was (replaced! . beautiful ambiente in restaurant. starter 5/5 starter came on a tray rack. all very delicious and well presented. hummus, tzatziki, olive and spicy feta (our fave.) eating 4/5 salt baits was amazing, lamb very good, chicken dish had the skin on which a little slim for our lust, but it was still tasty. service 5/5 very satisfied with the personal. highly recommended and we would return to try more of the menu!

To start with the cons, the portions were quite small and it was more pricey than expected. But the pros outweigh the cons by far the food was delicious and the display was cute. The staff were friendly and we luckily had the weather to sit outside. I would recommend the halloumi wrap

Good food, well cooked with friendly attentive service. Love the way you can pull together a Meze of hot and cold dishes to have a selection of starters and mains, rather than traditional English starter main and pudding. It's a much more relaxed, enjoyable and tasty way to eat. Will happily return next time we are in Bournemouth

Been here several times and always good. Service today was a bit slow to begin with but it got better. Three old pals had a long and rather boozy lunch. Lovely atmosphere and views across the gardens . We had a selection of dishes to share and particularly loved the lentil, beet and feta salad. Great variety and choice for vegetarians and carnivores. Reasonably priced, relaxed atmosphere and we spent an unhurried afternoon catching up on our gossip. Lovely.

Had a really great unhurried lunch at The Real Greek today and a Groupon deal made it excellent value. The restaurant is situated at the end of the Odeon/restaurant complex in Bournemouth and its elevated position gives diners great views over the gardens. In warm weather there is also a lovely open terrace. The food was superb and the service very efficient. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant based on our experience.
