Atmosphere and surrounding not in the same league as a Folie!!!

Went here twice; first visit about 3pm on a Tuesday it was dead, 2 days and 1 hour later and a sunnier day heaving with people dancing and having a great time. Good fun and easy location for both 1800 and getting back to 1950 and 2000 on Arpette

"Oh my goodness. What have we let ourselves in for?" We'd booked for the Wednesday mountain meal and arrived early to witness student apres in full swing (including a helicopter landing to remove one girl). Miraculously, on schedule at 18.30, the whole scene became more civilised. We were shown to our table in a round side restaurant and served a delicious meal - vin chaud, salad, raclette, cheese fondue, stone cooked meat. Later it was the diners dancing on the tables, after which it was an easy ski back down the mountain to 1800. Massive credit to the staff for making this evening work so well. Returned for coffee later in the week, and could never have guessed about the outrageous Wednesday evening ...

Excellent as always for lunch and great macarons at the bar - good service too. Great for an afternoon stop, late season, to enjoy a rose wine on the sun terrace - House rose is good and better value than beer.

Stopped off a couple of days for drinks . Great buzz and location. Peroni draft €5 a pint. Plenty of room and music. Finishes up quickly about 6pm
