La Cabane - Boulogne-sur-Mer

J'ai dégusté une délicieuse planche de la mer avec des tapas de fruits de mer! Le personnel est sympathique et la terrasse est très agréable! Je recommande vivement!

A lucky find near the port, we had a great family meal at La Cabane. Even though the city was very busy with a music festival we were welcomed into the restaurant. The staff didn't speak English so we butchered our way through the meal with our school French skills. The decor is nautical and a little rustic, creating the right atmosphere for a waterside location. The staff were friendly and attentive without being over bearing. Families were very welcome with several local families enjoying their meals. The house Red was very good and they stock the local Beer Ch'ti. Our food was lovely including Moules Marinere and Moules in Pepercorn Sauce, which worked very well. The speciality was Poutine which was very tasty including the Poutine La Cabane and the Poutine Biloute. The meals were great value so it is well worth a visit if you are in Boulogne-sur-Mer.

I could have bought a meat plate in a supermarket. The moodle was good, the mussels too, but the sauce was said to the meter, had no taste. A friendly service!
