West End Tavern - Boulder

We had the tavern wings, smoked tomato soup, the royal veg sandwich, and the brisket and pulled pork combo. Everything was awesome. I'm definitely coming back.

Nice casual spot for a rooftop lunch. No view to speak of so bring your own?. We liked burnt tips a lot and smoked turkey sandwich was also good. Had to find our own silverware and napkin when appetizer was served without. Enjoyed three Colorado beers (should have been happy hour priced but our bill rang up regular price). Good service and clean tables, restrooms, etc.

The spiked lemonade is super delicious. Try it and you’ll like it. It will definitely slip up on you.

I hate giving places bad reviews so ill just give this a three. I dont want to do damage to a small business like this. No issues with service just want to say that.I got a spicy chicken sandwhich and it was kind of nauseating and just not good. Fries werent goox either. Person i was with got a burger and they didn’t love it eitherOnly writing about this because the person i was with got really sick from it.

A very retro-style bar with booth seating that takes you back to the 1980 's when it opened. But nothing is old about the beers on tap, high-end cocktails and of course, the excellent food menu! A focus on some BBQ options, but also some great burgers, sides, and salads. Gets busy on weekends so get there early.
