Sheffield's Bar & Restaurant - Boulder

The atmosphere at this restaurant is always great, but unfortunately, the food quality has gone downhill. I couldn't identify what kind of meat was being served, as it tasted overcooked and unpleasant. The brain cakes had a strange texture and tasted like something from a supermarket. The fish was undercooked and had a strange seasoning that I didn't enjoy. Overall, I would not recommend eating here due to the disappointing food quality.

The buffet offered a mediocre selection of food for the price. The pizza option had pineapple on it both nights, which was disappointing. The overall experience was lackluster.

My husband and I went to Sheffield's restaurant tonight. When we arrived, all the food bars were covered with nets and no one served us. We had to find our own cutlery, salt, pepper, and napkins. There were no labels on some of the foods, which made it difficult to know what we were eating. Additionally, they reused the same plate when putting food back into the hot bar. The buffet cost $24.50 per adult without drinks.

Mixed reviews and comments. the staff was very friendly and there was a selection of several buffet dishes. roast and vegetables, fish and chips, pasta, salads, pizza and donuts. for the price that was reasonable. the sweetness certainly needed to cook a little more.

Visited here for lunch after being advised that they make the best pizzas in Kalgoorlie. Sorry, but they are not the best. they don't even make their own bases but use what looks very much like bases you can buy in Coles or Woolies. And...taste sorry again disappointing. I make far better pizzas at home. The rest of the buffet style food was also disappointing. Some great tastes but badly let down as a lot of the food was not warm enough.
