Mateo - Boulder

We had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to our table even with a reservation. It took almost an hour to receive our entrees. The tables are placed so close together that the waiters kept bumping into each other while moving around. This is our second visit and the previous experience was much better.

It took more than 45 minutes to receive our food and it was disappointing. The second experience was identical. Most likely will not return.

With a reservation it took minutes until we had someone come by our table. Almost an hour until we got our entrees. Tables are placed so close together that waiters who were cutting from one side of the place to the other constantly bumping. This is second time we visit. Previous time was much better.

Good food, good service, but rather noisy restaurant. I definitely recommend Mateo's

I had a reservation and was seated immediately, waiter came right over and told what beers were on tap. We each ordered an entree, I the had that skin in boneless chicken in a butter sauce which is consistently amazingly delicious. My friend has the steak Whitbeck enjoyed very much. Fries were crispy and hot. No dessert but another excellent meal at Mateo.
