We were on vacation in Boticas for the 1st time. So, also for the 1st time we went to visit the space. 5* service. The lady who served us was super friendly and helpful. We went with our 2 year old son, he even made himself available to pass the soup on to our little one. Of which I say that even the soup tasted like the typical comfort food of our grandmothers. And not just the soup. The food itself is really comfort food, it tastes like home . Very very good. And at the end they offered a chupa chups to the youngest We tried to go the 2nd time the day after but it was already full The space itself could be improved.

Here never again! We ordered a shot of post. The lady said it was enough for 2. It was definitely the only positive thing about our experience, the post was enough for 3. We ordered rare, there were areas that were really rare, others not so much. Meat was dry (good thing we didn't ask for well done otherwise we would have eaten rubber . We were told it was barrosã meat, it was anything but barrosã meat. Prices were not fixed, which causes prices to be adjusted at the will of the owner. We ordered alheira and ham for starters, a plate with half of each came. Together with the post we ordered 3 coca colas and a liter and a half bottle of water, we paid 40€. Nothing was specified on the invoice, only 2 meals appeared at €20 each, we felt completely ripped off, I don't advise anyone unless they like poor quality food paid for in gold. The service wasn't the best either. One of the people who was serving was more concerned with the family members who were there at the restaurant than with serving, the other had not even finished the meal and came to the table to ask if she could clear away the dishes (it was 9:30 p.m. and the restaurant closes at 12:00 a.m. One of the worst experiences we've ever had in a restaurant.
