Mesopotamia - Boston

The all experience was a mess. They were unorganised, when the meal arrived they decided to bring me chips instead of rice (without asking). Please explain me how can a restaurant run out of rice? How can you serve meals without taking away the starters? Please understand that giving a customer a discount doesn’t compensate for the fact that they weren’t well served at your restaurant. I have tried Turkish food and you no where close to that definition. By giving you one star I’m already overrating you.

Very attentive staff. We had a sharing platter, the best lamb chops I've had for a long time. There was a belly dancer who made the evening even better. Prices are reasonable and it's nice to go somewhere different in a town with limited options.

New find. Didn't realise it was there so thought we'd give it a try and very pleased we did. Had a mixed mezze starter, loads of different dips, Turkish sausage, grilled haloumi and some fresh bread. Then had a shared, mixed main course, lamb and chicken, marinated and then cooked on a griddle, all served on a bed of rice. Very helpful lady who served us, won't break the bank. Will be back.

Just finished our meal at Mesopotamia. It was amazing! Beautifully cooked and presented with lots of variety on the sharing mixed grill. Staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30
