Union Oyster House - Boston

The waitress was extremely rude and hastened our dinner. eating was not so great either. not worth the money we paid.

Went with high hopes of dinner with friends for our last night in boston. hostess seemed upset that we were there. the clam chowder gerste had any muddles. lobster ravioli was gummy and without lobster. if your desire to eat roasted it is decent. but we can say we were in the 2nd oldest restaurant in the usa and at home of clam chowder.

Service and eating did not correspond to expectations. bar seems like a lively fun environment, but in the evening disappointed

We had a great time. our server, justity, was great. he was attentive without being disturbing. he was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. the restaurant was funny and crowded, which added to the ambiente and of course the historical connection was really cool. but the prices were somewhat steep for the value of the food. Eating was really good, only no 5 stars meal.

We ate at the counter where we could see them shucking oysters. The chowder was delicious as were our fresh oysters. Folks around the counter were friendly and chatty. Great and memorable experience!
