The White Bull Tavern - Boston

Overall, there wasn't anything particularly wrong with our experience. Perhaps we had set our expectations a bit too high because we were under the impression that this place would be really lively. The atmosphere turned out to be just okay—nothing special. When we arrived, there was no one at the host stand, so we had to approach the bar to get someone’s attention. I’m not even sure if they were aware that we had a reservation. However, the food was quite good, especially considering the prices in Boston, and the service at the bar was satisfactory. It was a decent experience overall, and I would return if I were in the area again, but I had hoped for a little more.

We had lunch, and the appetizers were excellent—especially the buffalo chicken dip and wings. For our main courses, we ordered pizza, which was unfortunately overcooked and burnt. However, the Caprese sandwich and homemade chips were both very good.

Great food, not too noisy during lunch, and the staff is very friendly.

We went late afternoon so it wasn’t too crowded. Food was very good. Lobster roll and homemade chips were amazing.

I don't know if they knew we had a reservation. but eating was quite good, especially for boston prices, and the service was good in the bar. good experience overall and I would go back when I was back in the opposite. I was hoping for a little better.
