Ruka - Boston

The atmosphere is stylish and hip, and the fascinating menu options were what attracted us to this place. It is worth trying anyway, although I would not say that the prices are worth it. The music was a little loud and did not make an easy conversation with tablemates.

Service, FOOD, Cocktails, Sake were excellent! Our server offered some bomb recommendations, and the fried dough for dessert bleeded my mind. Very funny mood.

We started with cocktails that tasted delicious and some interesting flavors. We started with some sushi, which I think is some of the best I had up there with Nobu. The waiting staff was really friendly and was a great evening.

Ruka had an amazing interior, great music which also didn’t require us to scream during a conversation, great and quick service, and most of all very tasty and artistic dishes. My wife and I came to Boston for the long weekend, but any time we return, Ruka will always be a favorite.

This was our first visit to Ruka. We were so pleasantly surprised! The food was outstanding and the service terrific (attentive, helpful, perfectly paced). Loved it!
