Papagayo - Boston

Beautiful decor, cozy room, in a side street, good food, very friendly service. Signature Margaritas were so delicious! Street tacos were good (pork a little dry). For me, the brand of a good Mexican restaurant is the free chips, salsa and Papgayo’s were excellent!

I wasn't back in a while, but I love the free chips and salsa. They also fill it. The portion sizes are huge and it is quite normal, as the food was just like the Papagayo in Somerville. I always command the same thing. Sometimes it takes a while to get service. The bar area can sometimes be quite loud, so everything depends on when you go. The bathroom is actually a long walk and it has some scary drawings out.

Not very far from my workplace we decided to go to a Mexican place, and that was our choice. We went in top hour, so it was kind of packed, but there was a place to fit us. When we came into a guy to ask how many people like almost any place, then he took us on our table, not too much waiting, maybe a few minutes. The place is beautiful, tables are made of wood and there are benches and chairs. After we set ourselves, we got the menu very fast, and after looking at the drinks we order some Modelo Hahn beer, they were not very strong, but I liked them. As appetizers we ordered some nachos with guacamole and salsa, as the combo was more expensive perhaps the size was greater, but it was more than enough to try them. Both salsa and guacamole were good, diving nachos in them was perfect to wait for the main dish. We didn't know the difference between Burrito and Enchilada, so we asked the waiter and he kindly explained it to us. I ordered a beef enchilada, but my friend ordered a burrito. The size is quite large, with rice, beans, cheese and salad as sidedish. The service was attentive, so before the conclusion of our drinks they asked if we need something more.

Nice place for group of people 14 people we went there and they have big tables to manage. Food is good and you can taste the Mexican taste here. You care for Mexican environment in this restaurant.

Surprised by how much I enjoyed this place. Arrived around 5, not busy at all. Had a fun, energetic server who made the experience very pleasant. Shared a side of guac and 2 fish tacos between 2 people and it was perfect if you had a late lunch and need some light dinner. Pineapple cocktail was nice and refreshing. Fish taco was surprisingly good. Added some hot sauce for added kick. One gripe: chips are very fried, very crunchy and had visual oil residue. Really affected how much I enjoyed the salsa and guac. Would go back.
