Moon - Boston

I enjoyed my visit to MoonBar. Had to wait a half hour past my reservation time but the hostess was very attentive and kind. Drinks, food, and seating were all good.

This was my first time at Moon Bar but it won't be my last. The menu is small but loaded with great seafood options (really, come for the seafood! . We did four small plates between two people and it was perfect. The wine is wonderful and everything is so reasonably priced. Service was good without being pushy. My only complaint is that the window bar seating was a little awkward with the bench(? in front of your legs, but I got over it. 10/10 will return.

A last minute find when looking for somewhere for dinner. The menu is small but don’t let this put you off the food is fantastic!

We'd eaten upstairs at the formal Mooncusser's before, which was fantastic great food and an elegant setting. But we had not eaten downstairs at the Moon Bar until now. The food downstairs was just as tasty as upstairs, but generally with smaller plates. The selections were very interesting too. We had the ceviche and the poke as appetizers and both were amazing. The fish tacos were also excellent. There is only beer and wine (no hard liquor), but a good selection of both. The Moon Bar is casual, and is mostly set up for couples rather than groups of four or more. Nicely for bar seating, one can make reservations on line. We are definitely going back.
