Dosa Factory - Boston

We have dined at this restaurant half a dozen times, and we've always had a pleasant experience. I see some one-star reviews here, but I don't share that sentiment; perhaps the restaurant has made some changes recently. We recently took four friends with us, and they all enjoyed their meals as well, so it's clear we're not alone in our appreciation! As others have mentioned, this is a proper sit-down restaurant. I'm not sure where the 'street food' angle comes into play; while I can't comment on the authenticity of the dishes, we regularly enjoy Indian cuisine and find it quite good here. The only dish we weren't satisfied with was the Aloo Paneer, which was quite bland. Portion sizes can vary, but overall, the value is decent. Service can also be hit or miss; we've had the same waiter who was inattentive and slow on one visit, yet a joy to deal with the next time.

I had an incredible first experience at this restaurant! The owner is a humble and genuinely kind man. The food buffet was not only affordable but also delicious, especially for a vegan. He even allowed us to enjoy the buffet after the official hours, treated us to a complimentary dosa entrée, and kindly let me pay with my debit card from memory when I realized I had forgotten my wallet in the car!

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant with a craving for Indian cuisine, and we were pleasantly surprised by their innovative and exciting take on South Indian dishes with a modern twist. The portions are enormous, the meat is tender and full of flavor, and the service is quick and courteous. We can't wait to return!
