Cusser's Roast Beef Seafood - Boston

Very large portions, haha It was kind of quiet for a Friday afternoon, I’d say. Overall, the food WAS great!

Food is delicious. service is outstanding, atmosphere is extremely casual (bar seats only), I loved the music selection but it's so loud that you need to yell to be heard, even to the person sitting beside you. I know it's a thing, but it's a dealbreaker for me.

Well, I admit to be totally surprised by this. I had been to Mooncusser several years ago, back before the pandemic, and loved the food but found the space and service to both be awkward. When I realized they had pivoted and were now completely different type of place, it was time to visit. The roast beef sandwich was absolutely the best one I can recall eating, ever. That good. Perfect beef, soft tasty bun, amazing sauce. I was blown away. My wife had the lobster roll and loved it. The fries we shared we crisp and flavorful. The beer was cold, the outdoor seating pleasant, and the service prompt. All this and exceptionally reasonably priced (Boston is not a cheap dining city… . I’m convinced, Cusser’s is a local gem and we will be back again and again. And did I mention take out window?!

Bartender was super friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and just what we wanted. It could k be or have been better.

The food was excellent. Although the menu was somewhat limited, the dishes were both affordable and delicious. The music and service were also outstanding.
