We stumbled upon this place, and it was a great find. Local spot, nice people, and chill vibe. We will definitely be back.
Bit of a dump.Came here thinking (naively) it was a cafe while wiating for my laundry, but instead it turns out to be a stinky bar that only takes cash.Unless you are specifically looking for an old fashioned, smelly and unfriendly dive bar for the experience, I'd go elsewhere
Great atmosphere, drafts were cold, and Sangria is the best in Boston. We're new to the area and Ray's hospitality made it feel like home. Best kept secret in the North End. Highly recommend!
This is a decent little dive bar. It's cash-only, which is fine, but I found the prices to be a bit high. The atmosphere is rather lacking—it's quiet, with the TV displaying something rather trivial. When we mentioned we were hungry and on the lookout for a great Italian sandwich, the bartender kindly suggested a few nearby sandwich spots. However, I was surprised by the beer prices; typically, dive bars without any entertainment (not even music) are more affordable. We ended up paying $8 for a draft pint of Sam Adams, which felt a bit more expensive than I anticipated.
