Boston Brew Tours

John V. was an excellent tour guide. I was hesitant about doing a tour instead of just going to the breweries myself. But the education and fun I had with the group was a really fun time. John was funny and also very knowledgeable of the area, beer and history. I appreciated the history and his background. He brought us to small breweries on the outskirts of Boston that I've never heard of before which I also appreciated. I'd recommend this tour to anyone who wants a fun night out where you have someone with comedy and knowledge, but can also drive you around and get you beers. John V was a great tour guide!

John V was my guide, and he was the MAN! Very knowledgeable about beer and the process of making beer. He answered all of our questions and hand picked beers that he thought we would like. Excellent your, would definitely do it again with John V!

(Copying my review from another site as I ended the tour) My wife and I just toured a set of Boston area breweries with Joe, who was really excellent. Very knowledgeable, informative, humorous... it was clear that the entire van full of tourists really enjoyed the day. The breweries were excellent! I definitely recommend Joe, the tour, and City Brew Tours.. will keep an eye out for them in the many other cities they operate!

Great brewery tour with John from the evening downtown Boston location. John was very friendly, knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, passionate about the craft and accommodating to tour participants requests. I'd definitely recommend this tour to others and hopefully they get John as their guide. Sláinte!
