Bartleby's Seitan Stand - Boston

I met a LOT from Boston's Food Trucks (yes, support local businesses! While I'm an all-eater, I still enjoy many meat-free options, so was stolen to see the beautiful variety on their menu. I also like it being a woman owned by shops. I had the Sloppy Slav because I like Slav. I did not love the claw on my special sandwich (it was more raw than I had thought needed some sauce, but the flavors were all good, the prices are right, and it is the kind of business I want to support, so I will be completely back.

It took me a long time to finally meet Bartleby since I don’t work in town, but it was definitely worth the wait. I've been on the lookout for more vegan options ever since, and the nuggets did not disappoint. They were fried to perfection and tasted amazing, especially with the sauces that complemented the meal beautifully. I definitely need to return to try the sandwiches!

While I wasn't thrilled with the meat on my sandwich—it was a bit undercooked for my taste and could have used more sauce—the flavors were overall quite good, and the prices are reasonable. This is the kind of business I want to support, so I will definitely be coming back.

I really enjoy the Daredevil's Deluxe! The coleslaw is fantastic, and the sweet potato fries are amazing too!
