Avenue One At The Hyatt Regency Boston

We had a late dinner at this restaurant since we were staying at the hotel. The food was decent but nothing special, and the service left a lot to be desired. However, the Boston cream pie for dessert was truly disappointing. It was painful to be served something so subpar in Boston. The dessert was a modern rendition shaped in a round mold with a hard chocolate shell, filled with a gritty and flavorless cream, all topped off with a blueberry drizzle (blueberry? Really?). We didn't try any other desserts, so I can't comment on the rest of the menu.

Nice service. Convenient. Food is overpriced for what you get. Chicken wings and cheesecake were good. Vegetable soup was so so, and steak was overcooked.

The service was outstanding, but the food was just average. I don’t think it’s worth the price, which is quite disappointing, especially given the restaurant's location in the heart of the theatre district.

Its a hotel restaurant, the food is consistently good, but its not Boston fine dining. We go because it is close, one of the more reasonable choices AND it has a quiet full service restaurant atmosphere (usually). Most restaurants nearby are more like a very expensive college dining hall, rather than a place to have quiet conversation, a decent meal and attentive waitstaff.

Good good and service was good but I was also looking forward to a special play menu which wasn’t available like the in the past 3 plays I attended I was a little disappointed
