Sues Country Kitchen - Bossier City

Basic food is usually boring. The service was great and the workers there were friendly and gave me a lot of attention to review regularly for me. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. It tastes okay, not delicious. Purple hull peas, very good. Peace Okra, yuck. Hard and dry, no taste. It was obviously made with flour and without cornea. It had no taste. The prices were reasonable, but I probably won't go back. I expected comfort food that was well prepared. It was just okay.

I highly recommend this place!! I was originally from Louisiana and came here a few years ago when I visited Texas. And since then I always make a point to eat here every time I come back! The food is amazing and decent expensive! Real home boiled feeling and everyone is very beautiful and welcoming. This last time I left, we were served by AJ... she was great and very courteous for our small group of 6. This place will always be included in my trips to Louisiana!!

We were in town for a family meeting and decided to stop for breakfast. A fast Google search let us in this restaurant and it is many good reviews. You are immediately met with memories of your grandmother's house. The decor is old and kitchy, but I can live with any decor as long as the food is good. The food wasn't. My group had a number of breakfast foods from pancakes and eggs to pigs in a blanket and one of us even got chicken roast steak. There was an amazing disappointment of all. The eggs tasted old, the oash-browns were raw, the chicken fried steak unedible. The only decent element was the grottos. I must say our waitress was very nice, but she was the only positive in an otherwise disappointing experience. I must point out that there is a lot of regular food and happy chatting away. We had great hopes for this restaurant, but now I must stop the others from being dragged from locals into this place, with what I can only accept, is a strong feeling of loyalty to this hometown ice cream shop.

The liver and onions are amazing. The roles are so enormous. You can definitely serve two with each dish from the dinner menu. The staff is amazing and the food is fresh. Loved the atmosphere. Very nice clean cool environment. Thank you.

5 stars for Amanda, 1 star for food. Amanda was an amazing waitress! We came in with a party of 7 that turned into 9 and she was great. She made sure we were being paid attention to and that everything went well. The food wasn't good in my opinion, the waffles were more like pancakes, the sausage tasted like it was a store bought frozen patty, the omelettes were tiny. No flavor in anything. The syrup bottle had so much syrup caked into the opening it wouldn't even close.
