The food and service at this restaurant are amazing! Despite it being a busy Sunday, we were seated immediately. Tasha, our server, is outstanding and really seems to enjoy her job. Be sure to tip her well! The owner is also very polite and friendly. Everyone at this restaurant is fantastic. We frequently pass through this area and will definitely be stopping here every time from now on. Thank you!

We visited this restaurant last night and were pleasantly surprised. The special, a large Chicken Fried Steak Dinner, seemed like too much for us so we opted for the breakfast version with brown gravy, eggs, and potatoes. I had home fries while Kathy chose hash browns. Despite being a smaller portion, it was still more than enough to satisfy us. Some reviews mentioned the food was bland, but in my opinion, it was simply seasoned with a home-cooked taste, without the overpowering fire and spice found in many other places. If you prefer a bit more heat, just ask and they will likely accommodate. We appreciated being able to taste the actual flavors of the food, which were all cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we left satisfied with plenty to eat. Great service and delicious food.

I had a great experience with the customer service at this restaurant! Although we went during lunchtime, I was in the mood for breakfast. I ordered a chocolate chip pancake with sausage and Cajun fries. While the food wasn't amazing, the atmosphere was pleasant. My only critique would be to not overcook the meals, as much of what I ate was dry and lacking in flavor. I would consider returning to try out their lunch menu instead.

Food Critic of 6 years here. I stopped by this quaint café for lunch and ordered my daughter a kids grilled cheese and myself a 6 oz. steak. My sides were baked potato, a dinner roll, and green beans. The staff was kind and quick to serve. My steak, which I ordered medium rare, was cooked to the like for the most part but the outer edges cooked a fair bit more. The potato was offered with butter, faux bacon bits, and sour cream, I refused the sour cream as it does not suit mypalate. Over all the entire meal was bland, unseasoned, and tasteless. Even the dinner roll was unremarkable in any way, soggy, and not even browned. My daughters grill cheese was just as expected although I was a little surprised at thelack of fries, for 4.99 I suppose it was passable, she seemed to enjoy her meal. As you can imagine kids meals aren't exactly fine cuisine. Overall the atmosphere was homely and enjoyable enough. 2 stars as the food would be considerablybetter if it were seasoned even with salt and pepper, but the experience was fair enough. I do not think I would eat here again.

The food was delicious and served hot. We had a great time at dinner and definitely plan on returning as customers. I highly recommend trying the giant chicken fried steak.
