Carlee's Place - BORREGO SPRINGS

Never in a million years would I find the best beyond burger in borrego springs, but carlee has nailed it. they actually know what it means to be a vegan, what I found interesting, because the city itself is not exactly vegetarian / vegan friendly. at least I know where I can eat when I come here to visit what is several times a year. I hope other restaurants understand that limited veg menus eliminate a large segment of the population.

Caprese salat was bland. my parents got the burger, and they thought it was really good. it is a very thick burger and quite filling. chips and riders are not vegan, so they gave them tomats on the side. the rolls for the burgers are also not vegan, so keep this in mind and exchange them when they can.

It is a cool old fashion dipping art of space. often has live music. place is clean and everyone is super friendly and understanding for what vegan means. thin crust pizza, beyond burger on roggen (not on ciabatta, they need to ask for roggen) and a caprese are vegan. chips and pommes are not so after a side of pickles and they bring them like 10

The Allni Hubby and I started with the vegan caprese. super delicious. it followed with a vegan Greek pizza. superbly firmed the preliminary that felt good. excellent drinks!

This place has the most crazy menu, all they can imagine, they will probably have. I work in borrego and that's pretty much the only place I work on.
