Sea Breeze On Maling - Boroondara

Regularly order by phone for fish and chips from Seabreeze, Very accurate in the time to pick up despite being busy. Fish is always well cooked and chips are browned to a desirable level. As order a flourless grilled fish always in a separate pack and cooked separately.

The grilled snapper pieces were tasty, but rather small for the most expensive fish on the menu. The chips were very good - crisp and not too greasy. I don't like having to pay extra to have my fish grilled. It's a healthy option that should be encouraged, although I do realise that the operator (cook?) needs to watch it more than the fish in the deep fryer. The salad container was chock full, but again on the expensive side, reflecting Canterbury (Maling Rd) prices. Overall, reliable, suburban quality fish and chips at a price!

We didn't expect much from this shop and it doesn't look much from outside but we were pleasantly surprised by how fresh the food looked and how well it tasted. It's surprisingly easy to cook fish and chips poorly but they did a great job. Will be back sometime.

This used to be a great fish and chips place, but it has gone downhill over the years. We used to travel further to have this special fish and chips. Service not that friendly, we used to put up with poor service and dearer prices as the fish and chips were good, now not so. Menu is also limited to seafood, no sausage and batter. Last visit, the fish were ok but the chips were disappointing, service is still poor. Will not return.

This is a great local fish and chip shop. Phoned the order through, 10 minutes later picked up and brought home. Chips are always crisp and the fish lightly battered and fried. Lemon slices added.hh How easy is that!
