Contribuiți la feedbackThe coffee at this restaurant is delightful. I used to get a cup every morning when I worked nearby. I also recommend trying their delicious Reuben sandwich. The only downside is that the restaurant is on the smaller side, so it can feel a bit crowded at times.
You’ll want to become a regular! This place is perfect. It offers outside, courtyard, and cosy indoor dining options. The menu is broad and I can confidently say will cater to all tastes any time of day. We enjoy being greeted like long lost friends and note this is consistent for all customers of this beautifully run family business. Simply cannot fault this little gem for it’s lovingly made fresh food and it’s outstandingly attentive service. And did I mention how good the coffee is?! A visit will not disappoint :
My skinny latte was served nice and hot, maintaining its heat until I got home. The almond milk latte that my friend ordered was strong and packed a good hit of caffeine. We also toasted the banana raspberry, banana, and blueberry breads at home for a wonderful work-from-home breakfast. I noticed a sign advertising fresh take-away dinners available for purchase and reheating at home for $15 each. Some of the options sounded delicious and definitely worth considering for the future. The rustic and charming covered courtyard of Santucci's was filled with natural light and had a giant heater for colder days. We selected this spot for Sunday brunch as it was quiet and spacious. The menu had a classic focus on savoury dishes, but we couldn't resist trying the delicious-sounding french toast. The coffee was hot and smooth, with well-frothed milk for picture-perfect art, while the chai was authentic and not overly sweet. We also enjoyed a refreshing melon juice. For brunch, we had the giant corn and sweet potato fritter, tacos (with thin crumbed chicken instead of beef), and the beautifully plated French toast. The fritters were served with poached eggs, beetroot puree, and saffron aioli, and the tacos came with flavorful coleslaw. Chef Kelvin, with his years of industry experience, likes to change the specials menu almost weekly, offering something new on each visit. The French toast was exceptional, with brioche bread, marshmallow, choc wafer, fruit, custard dots, and plenty of maple syrup. It was relatively light since the brioche wasn't overly thick. Overall, it was a great brunch experience with many interesting dishes on the menu that we didn't have a chance to try. We thank Santucci's for a warm invitation and look forward to returning to our new favorite local spot in Box Hill South.
Staff were welcoming and lovely. A freshly squeezed glass of juice, smashed avo and a nice seat in the corridor strip are a winning combination! Hope to come back again soon
I adore the unique blend of decor at Santucci's - there aren't many cafes like it. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, particularly the eggs Benedict, breakfast burger, mushrooms, and brioche French toast. I will definitely return for more!
