La Ferme des Janets

Our friends and I loved to visit this restaurant, but unfortunately they have gone. will only be accepted if 20 or more. they are now focusing on high time and functions, so sad

There for lunch in a group of 6. eating was as described in most posts, good and plentiful, but not original. service was really friendly and the place is really quiet, which is a tasty bite in this opposite!

We visited today for lunch with friends. this was our 4th visit and again we were not disappointed. the environment is so rurally pleasant. the owners and employees have made us so welcome as if we were regular customers and not twice in the year that we are. there is a 25 € menu for 3 courses and a 33 € menu for 4 courses with something for all tastes. all 4 of us have cleaned up our tellers! weine are reasonable with pichets from 9 € for demi’s. cedric even remembered my name from my email reservation. one of the owners (a lady) even entertained us all by singing at different tables brilliant.

I had heard from some people that eating here was good and came to friends who go but. . large portions of the filler (pasta in my case) and very middle portion meat for the main dish (and fish for the starter). all badly presented and unfortunately quite tasteless. I wondered if they might have lost their chef because I notice that other critics had much better experience in past than mine.

Six of us chose the 25 Euro menu and all were happy with the food both in taste and portion size. the food won't set the world alight but it was good value and made for a happy time together. The setting is lovely, the...staff were welcoming and discreetly attentive. The dessert menu was the only disappointment for me, it was a bit unadventurous and uninspiring but that is a minor gripe. We would certainly return.
