Pizzeria San Remo - Borken

A sunny late afternoon and a hungry stomach don't go well together so I decided to had for some food and came across this place in Borken. Actually my itention wasn't for Italiana but when I passed the tables in the sun, I just stopped and decided whatever, I am not going anywhere else.Now when the menu arrived, it was obvious the standard Italian range, Pizze e Pasti... but then I saw the daily menu and spotted the pasta with porcini, filet of beef and Parmesan and had my decision set. When the dish arrived I was surprised by its size and immediatly dug into it. A perfect balance between pasta and sugo with the mushrooms, beef and parmesan giving a nice composition - delicious and filling at the same time.Nevertheless I still had a little bit of room and some appetite left so I decided for the roasted Sabayone with fresh strawberries. Again, very delicious but either the cook didn't pay enough attention or the Sabayone didn't take the roasting/strawberries too well, there was some liquid mixture still at the bottom.As I said it was delicious but this just scraped enough off the rating that the whole meal got 4 stars.Main course 4.5, service 4.5, location 4.5 but then the dessert wasn't 5 for sure so it's a 4, sorry.

Just walking around the town we came upon this restaurant, which was able to seat us on a Friday evening. Had a really lovely and relaxed meal with my wife and son. Attentive and friendly waitstaff, good wine selection by the glass, and very well executed food!

O după-amiază târzie însorită și un stomac flămând nu merg bine împreună, așa că am decis să mănânc și am dat peste acest loc din Borken. De fapt, mențiunea mea nu a fost pentru Italiana, dar când am trecut pe lângă mese la soare, m-am oprit ... și am decis orice, nu mă duc nicăieri altundeva. When the court arrived, I was surprised by his greatness and dragged me in immediately. a perfect balance between pasta and sugo with the mushrooms, bark and parmesan give a beautiful composition delicious and at the same time fill. I still had a little bit of space and an appetit remained, so I decided for the roasted sabayone with fresh strawberries. also here, very tasty, but either the cook did not pay enough attention or the sabayone did not take too well the fryinges/grabbles, there were still some liquid mix on the floor. as I said it was delicious, but that just has enough of the evaluation that the whole meal will get stars. main course service location, but then the dessert was not safe, so it is a bad one.
