Am alten Rathaus - Borken

We have been staying in the town of Borken for a few days and have visited this restaurant twice. Excellent cuisine and first class service at reasonable prices. There is a wide choice of food and we liked the fact that many of the meals come with salads as a complimentary starter. The help yourself salad bar comprises items like tuna, grated carrot, sliced beetroot, pickled white cabbage and cucumber. The servings of the main courses were generous and we were even offered a complimentary glass of schnapps at the end of the meal. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided us with a menu in English to help us make our choices.

Friendly atmosphere with first class service. Lunch menu was excellent value; very tasty and well presented. We went twice!

Its a bit pricy but the food is pretty good, I loved the chicken soup. The restaurant is really cozy.

Great atmosphere, attentive service and always super delicious food! We have been regular guests for years and wish that they stay after the lockdown!

Great portions and very leaks. Our daughter (4) even has something to paint when we waited for food. There is even an extra menu for the little ones. We definitely eat here again.
