Hostel San Marino - Borgo Maggiore

This restaurant review is about a shameful scam targeting foreign tourists. I called in August to book a bed, and as soon as the person on the phone heard my foreign accent, they promised to call me back with their private number. After booking, they instructed me to confirm the reservation by email. However, the owner of the hostel considers this reservation as "advice," and charged me an additional €12 on top of the bed price.

It was a good experience overall. Rooms were clean and nice. Location is perfect. You can take a bus to tourist sites right infront of this hotel. They also gave me maps and guided me on the bus timings which was kind. Only problem was they dont give you any supplies like soap or shampoo sachets as hotels usually do. Good thing there is a supermarket nearby but mostly at the checkin time it closes (7:45). Not complaining but everyone booking this hotel should take their own soap with them. And other things ofcourse.

Hostel San Marino is a great place in San Marino! The breakfast is a typical continental mountain breakfast, suitable for easygoing Latvian tourists. It may not be suited for woodworking enthusiasts, but it was a delightful experience overall. The hostel is brilliant and we even met a biker girl from Turkey who was passionate about biking. It was a wonderful time!

Unpleasant environment!! They charge an extra 4 euros for the bed sheets, which is not written anywhere in the booking. The place is seedy and also a bit dingy.
