Landnamssetrid - Borgarnes Island

"The restaurant at the center is absolutely fantastic! There are two exhibitions, one about the early settlement and the other on Egils saga (the famous warrior-poet who was born and lived in the area). Visitors receive a separate audio guide for each exhibition, allowing them to spend about an hour exploring both. On the top floor, there is a beautiful restaurant that serves a delicious veggie lunch buffet alongside some other standard menu items."

I went to this restaurant for lunch and coffee and was very impressed by the quality of the buffet, soup, and coffee. The staff were very friendly, as is recommended in most island restaurants.

We really enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant. The rustic atmosphere and rock walls added a nice touch. They had a vegetarian buffet on the day we visited, which was of good quality and quite enjoyable.

A small fancier than we expected, but still tasty and the service was excellent. the museum and gift shop in the ground floor was fun to look. serves stedji bier, a local brewery in the environment.

One of the really special and great places to visit. The food is incredibly good. We really enjoyed our stay.
