Town Country Diner - BORDENTOWN

Went there for dinner with 3 people at the recommendation of our hotel clerk. Unfortunately it was the WORST meal we have ever had at a diner. Soups were completely inedible- waiter admitted there was an issue with the chicken soup (watery) but matzo ball soup was just as bad. Prime rib was tough, liver and onions was cooked to death, and their fried eggplant is like deep fried potato skins, not delicate eggplant pieces. Absolutely horrible meal and when we noted this to the check out clerk, she had basically nothing to say. Avoid at all costs!!

Great comfort food and friendly service. My wife loves the split pea soup. I am so glad someone local recommended this as an alternative to the diner I was planning to go to but they were closed. I will be back when I am in the area.

Burgers were perfect fries with melted cheese or brown gravy great service....desert amazing cookies amazing... glad I walked out of chickies and Pete's I want to thank the headway Tricia Chickies and Petes for giving me a dirty look and completely ignoring me and let me a cross street to a great lunch

Went in this evening with my wife and daughter for dinner. Greeted by the friendly hostess who quickly seated us in a nice sized booth. Our server, Sean, was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and got everything right in our order. My daughter got breakfast for dinner which looked good and my wife got a veggie burger which was massive. I ordered the 10 Oz NY strip with BBQ chicken (2 good size breast cutlets). My steak special came with soup (chicken noodle), salad, two sides, and dessert (rice pudding). That special was $23. An unreal amount of very good food for $23. All the food was very good and the service was great! We're only about 10 mins away so we'll definitely be back soon.

While it is difficult to get in and out of near the junction of 206/130 this Diner is well worth the difficulty of getting into the property. The menu consists of 10 pages of choices and an additional page for the daily specials. There is most certainly something for anyone depending on if you want a snack or a full meal. If you are planning on stopping for dinner make sure you bring an empty stomach. The dinner included soup salad dessert. The food came out well timed with plenty of time to eat the soup and salad before the main entree was brought out piping hot. The dessert I was expecting just some institutional pudding and it was it was not that it was certainly home made. The staff was friendly and made sure I was always looked after between courses.
