Gujju Ab - Boraas

Wow, what a discovery!! A real gem, recommended by our AirBnB and a friend, and it was WORTH going there. We really love Indian food and have our favorite restaurants for it, back home. But this menu was so different than all the other regular Indians people know, we decided to try it. Everything was awesome, the food, the mocktails, atmosphere, service, music, Michelin star worthy we told them! Although I was glad it didn’t have a star We would almost come over from Holland especially for their food

The tasting menu was worth the ~450kr price. We made some adjustments to the menu, but it was an overall positive experience. One could have wished for a bit more punch in the flavors, but only the asparagus left us lacking of taste. If the service would 've told us what every menu item was, I 'd given 4 stars. This time the food was just brought to table and once we were just told that we were put of XXXX, so we replaced with this. This was mussels and they were really good, but we would have liked to know a bit more about the food.

Fantastic eating with great vegan option. that is really fine Indian eating. great service, friendly staff. highly recommended. pity that they serve meat, but at a small place like borås maybe everything is vegan difficult.

The restaurant is very pleasant, I ordered the duck and dosa. It was a unique and delightful dish, unlike anything I've had at other Indian restaurants before!

Two of us shared one butter murgh and one crispy duck, two garlic naans and rice. Let's start of with the crispy duck, it was not crispy at all, rather it felt like it had been refrigerated and then heated. But that was not the worst. The duck had a mix of raw-pink to grayish tones, I think the colors speak for themselves; it was bland, dry and boring. The butter murgh was good, basically a mix between stroganoff and curry +0.5 star). We also tried alcohol free drinks that were really good! +0.5 star). The garlic naan was drenched in butter and a bit too soggy for my taste, the fat was dripping from my fingers. The staff was generally service minded, understanding and took of the duck from the check +1 star). However this experience was pretty awful and we did not want to order anything else even though we could probably eat a couple of more menu items. It was simply not worth the money, and the appetite was completely gone. Also the price/portion was through the roof.
