Chocobar - Boppard

To stay in an almost hotel about christmas, so we have let ourselves in for a drink. the hot chocolate was amazing!

This is a café serving drinks and snacks. The clou is that the main seating area is in the market square which during sunny weather is a wonderful place to sit and relay and enjoy a cup of coffee or ice chocolate. The service is...reasonable we were there on a sunny day and so the staff were fairly busy.

Called in for mid afternoon coffee and had a great banter in English with the owner. He recommended us an iced cappacino coffee and boy were we glad that we followed it. A fantastic drink. Sat outside in the market square and enjoyed the experience.

Stop in for a hot chocolate to go. I think they use shaved milk cocoa because it had a silky mild taste. The drink was very good, my only comment is that the milk was so hot (probably necessary to melt the cocoa) the drink...was too hot to drink immediately. Once it cooled a little it was delicious.

We sat in the square under the umbrellas for a leisurely iced coffee. Delicious and reasonably priced. Recommended for a nice sit-down.
