Jamaica Blue - Booval

We tried the pancakes with strawberries and cream which were very nice. One of the staff went out of her way to be friendly and helpful. I was disappointed with the ham and cheese bagel as they crushed and heated it without asking when I would have preferred it direct from the showcase.

Pretty average food and service, nothing here to excite me and i would not come back again. If they changed the chef and upped the customer service, i might come back.

Jamaica Blue staff here are brilliant. The service with genuine smiles and professionalism was outstanding. The coffee was great and so was the Avacado smash, I will be back,

There was plenty of seating inside the restaurant and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the fritters I ordered were dry and my meal was smaller than expected for the price. However, the tea was excellent. My husband thought his coffee was just okay, but he enjoyed his eggs, salmon on toast, and bacon. The avocado smash was lacking in portion size and needed some citrus flavor. Overall, my meal was disappointing.

We had originally planned to have lunch at the newly opened Rashays nearby, but when we found out they didn't have bacon on their breakfast menu, we decided to go to Jamaica Blue instead. The coffee, breakfast, and burger were all fantastic, and the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and we even signed up for a membership card to earn rewards points because we will definitely be returning. I mean, who doesn't have bacon on their menu these days?!
