Harborside 1901bar And Grill

We were under the impression that this restaurant was closed but were surprised to find a very nice lunch and a few days later breakfast. Apparently some of the kitchen staff are the same as before. The waitstaff were all very nice and friendly. My wife loved the avocado toast served at breakfast and they also had an updated version of their old standby-blueberry French toast.

This restaurant is under new ownership as of June 2021.Really great crew. They're so happy and nice and really excited for you to be there. We had the clam chowder. It was good but definitely different with a bit of fennel I think.The shrimp dumplings were super delish.The harbor breeze was soooo yummy!!The sushi coming out looked amazing!

We arrived just past breakfast and before lunch and was presented with a great local drink list and chips and sticky buns to purchase before lunch was served. The bar tender/manager Elliot was very friendly and courteous. He made suggestions based on the conversation had. The fish and chips was plentiful....almost a pound of haddock with cole slaw french fries and sauce it was delicious. The fish taco also was haddock and slaw or something similar. The lobster roll was on an fresh baked bun that was equally delicious before the lobster. This too was plentiful. Elliot again was nice and helpful with tourist highlights .

Went here for breakfast while waiting to go on a Boothbay Harbor boat cruise. Place is somewhat small, but staff was very friendly. Food was good. Very convenient. Also open for lunch and dinner.

Had the tavern menu on a Sunday. Everything we tried was excellent. A really pleasant surprise in a tourist town.
