Contribuiți la feedbackMole!!. Ok, let me begin by telling you that the atmosphere, bright colors and charm of Alberto 's is happiness on a dull day in March 2015. My hubby and I stopped in the afternoon and were pleased the minute we hit the door. Love the charm of this place!! The owner Connie is pleasant, cheerful and very accommodating, and I LOVED her cooking!. Her mole is delicious, as was the chimi that I had. Hubby 's combo plate was very good as well! I don 't usually like Spanish rice , but I loved Connie 's!!! This was the best authentic mexican we have had in years , having traveled from Or., Nv., Id., Mt., N.D.., and back to Mt. last summer, when we moved to Libby. I will stop at Connie 's each time I travel through. Delicious authentic Mexican food, good prices!!
Wonderful Place to Eat. Nice log building very comfortable. The food is fresh and full of flavor. Great people, a real gem for this area.
This is my first time eating here under the new owners and I am very disappointed. The chips are store bought. The salas also seems like it came out of jar!! The menu says soup or salad with every meal, however, I was never asked, they just brought me this flavorless broth with soggy noddles and one carrot in it! While wait for my meal, the owner comes over to the table next to me and asks do you remember how many drinks I 've served you cause I forgot! What a sham! This place use to be to good! On a brighter note; there is a for sale sign out front so maybe the next new owners will bring in some authentic Mexican food! But for now, you 're better off earring at Taco Bell!
Just let me go. So I took my family out to dinner and it looked pretty good at first but we got some chips and salsa and the chips looked like Tostitos and the salsa was from a jar. When we got our food the rice was so crunchy it nearly broke my teeth, the cheese wasn't melted and there was canned veggies in the rice. My wife's chimichanga was filled with canned corn and canned peas. I could have gotten a better meal from Taco Bell. I told the waiter that our food wasn't good and he went back to talk to the owner. The owner came out to my table and accused me of trying to steal food from her before i even had a chance to talk with her about my extremely unpleasant experience.. I just tried to pay for the food that was ok and leave and she tried to call the cops on me. I will never come back. The food was not Mexican food it was soup kitchen food and I feel sorry for the stomach of whoever eats there in the future.
LOVE Alberto 's! Awesome Vegan food!. Being Vegan/Vegetarian, I have found it hard to find a restaurant that serves anything close to the way I prefer my food. I had almost given up on being able to eat out unless traveling all the way into Sandpoint until I made an order to go at Alberto 's. Firstly, coming from a metropolis and moving to a small town such as Bonners Ferry, I have found it hard to adjust to everyone closing so Early! The reason I ordered from there in the first place is because they were (Literally! the only restaurant still open. I called them to find out if the open sign had been telling the truth. I was surprised when they answered the phone and even more surprised when, after giving them my usual Mexican order (Bean burrito, tostada, etc. , to not have to fight to get my order as Vegetarian as possible. Instead of, No meat!? What? Well, I am not sure if we can do that! Even our beans have meat in them... I got the surprising response, Okay, now would you rather that Vegetarian or Vegan? With or without dairy? Even more exciting, when I went in to pick up the order, they offered to accommodate me in any way possible. Now thank 's to Alberto 's, (And especially Connie! I can eat a fully balanced Vegan meal without fuss and I have Options! I highly suggest her Vegan Chimichanga 's and Tamales! Connie make incredible food that is well balanced, colorful and delicious! If you are a Vegan, Vegetarian, or even a meat eater, Alberto 's is a Must Try Mexican restaurant. I LOVE Alberto 's!
