Backwater Jack's - Bonita Springs

Great atmosphere on the marina watching to boats come and go. Food was delicious, service was great . Enjoyable place for lunch .

We enjoyed for the first time but disappointed to get our bill and get charged higher price than on the menu. Apparently the bar bites menu pricing is only during happy hour, but is not stated anywhere on the menu and the bartender did not inform us. I would suggest you correct this so your customer is aware and continues to come back.

We had an amazing dinner with our group of 8. Corey the chef gave us recommendations on several items which were delicious. The food and service were top notch.

Tucked inside Bonita Bay, I 'd say this is a private club that allows the public rather than a true public restaurant. Lots of rules here. Only members can make a reservation in advance of the day leaving this establishment out for anytime you really want to ensure you can have dinner out somewhere during season. Only members seem to be able to get porch dining. Credit cards only, no cash. For your convenience a 20% tip is automatically added to bill but don 't expect anyone to let you know this. Food was good but very expensive for what you get. Water view is not of an active marina but rows of boats on boat lifts. Our server was very nice. But there is certainly the are you a member vibe in the restaurant which is great for members but not so good for occasional guests. Membership, at the time of this review, is $300/yr and gives you 10% off and ability to make advance reservations. Visited the bar area on an earlier visit and thought it was nice but not a welcoming vibe. Overall impression good if you are a member or want to be a member, probably not a good pick for dinner if you are just looking for an occasional waterfront dining experience.
