Finally Fresh traditional Mexican food in Bonham! There are so many Tex Mex spots and they 're just ok but this place is where it 's at. I feel like I 've eaten here at least once a week since my first time, I 'm addicted to their shredded chicken street tacos. Big menu and always great service; Definitely worth checking out next time you 're craving Mexican food. Or tacos in general. :P

On our way to Brokenbow from Dallas, we were getting hungry and decided to stop in Bonham. Not much going on besides fast food. Saw Fonda on yelp and decided to give it a shot. You don't go for the decor and ambiance. The food is ahhhmazing. Really great and authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend the Torta de Chorizo. Chips and salsa are on point. If you have a kiddo with you, the hamburger and fries were delicious. Cecina plate was another crowd pleaser of thinly sliced grilled beef with sautéed veggies and rice and beans and hand made fluffy corn tortillas. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Went there Sunday. No staff was wearing mask being aware of COVID. Took 15 minutes to get us drinks and then another 30 minutes to get our order taken. So 45 minutes in all. More people came and from what I saw they had the same experience. Took over an hour to get our food finally out to us. From the looks of it they got every bodies order out, like we had to wait for them to finish cooking everybody else's food as well. The staff wasn't friendly either and our food was barely warm if I could give this place less than one I would.
