Elkhorn Trading Post - Bondurant

We adore this restaurant and its staff. The burgers are fantastic, the drinks are amazing, and Ian, the owner, is a genuine and down-to-earth guy. I can't wait to return. Since moving to Buffalo, I really miss this place.

This place has the best burger and kettle chips! we went into the tiny mini-mart then discovered that they had a good size dining room to the left. it looked like a rustic jagd hut with a black bear and beaver prominent along with elk and pronged horn antelope grazed. service was excellent! it seemed every job from the kitchen included a burger. lol and we do not forget the server. the lady waiting for us was outstanding! she had more energy than we both together. even gave us a tipp where we were looking for moose in a city on the road. I understand why most customers were native. a big place to eat!

We visited the Tetons and Yellowstone, but the ElkHorn restaurant was the best part of our two-month stay in Wyoming!
