Very quiet atmosphere, with little music but cheap drinks

Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication. Before booking I had tried to call the restaurant which had hours that it was trading on Google. When I called it said to leave your name and number to confirm your reservation. So, I then when to their website what a poor excuse for a website that would not load. I then saw on google that they were taking the reservations via The Fork. I booked my table on Sunday for a booking for 6 people last night. Throughout the week I tried to call to confirm the booking and left a message with my reservation details just as the email said to call and confirm. Day after day have no heard anything back. Went on Google again and saw other booking times had been taken so I took that as it must be trading. I also, sent a message via Facebook and Instagram but heard nothing (which is understandable if they have a high following). However, following their pages there was no sign that they were not operating. So, for a birthday booking last night we all turned up to the restaurant to find out it was closed. This is unacceptable not just for my sake but others who have not been. Might I add today it also reflects on allplatforms that you can book. Even if a business is closed it should be part of their customer experience to keep everyone aware, update voice mail, website and booking sites.
