Fujiya - Bolzano

I went to a Chinese restaurant in Bolzano, but it was closed because it closes Monday’s. So, we looked for another restaurant called ‘Fujiya’ that is strange name for Japanese people. That’s why we didn’t expect so much. And it’s menu ‘bento’ is a little bit strange for us as well. Anyway we entered the restaurant. But the madam of the restaurant was very cheerful and as we wanted to eat Chinese dishes, especially kantonese rice (fried rice, 炒飯 . So, we ordered kantonese rice bento and curry rice bento. We believed the owner family was Chinese and then fried rice must be good. Finally we found that we were right. Both fried rice were very good with a well fried spring roll and healthy salad and fruits. Additionally we ordered gyoza that was not fried but steamed, real Chinese style, was also good. And the price was half of Italien restaurants. Amazing! I’m not sure about other dishes of this restaurant, but I’m really sure that Chinese dishes of this restaurant must be good. 「ふじや」という名のレストランは日本人には違和感たっぷりですし、店に入ってみるとやっぱりお店の人は日本人じゃない。「べんとー」というメニューも胡散臭いですが、セットメニューが７ユーロ弱は魅力的な値段。元々中華料理が食べたかったので、炒飯弁当と謎のカレー弁当を頼んでみると、カレーの方はカレー炒飯。どちらかの炒飯も美味しく、春巻き、サラダ、フルーツ付き。ボリュームが多過ぎるイタリアンの店にちょっとウンザリしていたので、この弁当のボリュームもありがたかった。足りないと思ったら、他の料理も頼んでもいいと思います。

Delicious Chinese and Japanese food, besides the owners are really nice and it is usually a quiet enough place to go with friends. Of course, they have taken away, I simply do not recommend the Ravioli al-Dampf, they have a strange orange-coloured aroma that simply does not work too well
