I went to the park this past weekend and decided to grab a bite to eat and a coffee here. The food was fantastic and the staff were friendly and efficient, constantly cleaning tables and keeping things tidy. I didn't have to wait long to be served, and I thought the prices were reasonable. Overall, it's a charming little cafe that I will definitely be returning to soon.
I visited this restaurant on a Friday afternoon with my 3-year-old. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not well maintained - every surface was dirty, floors were not swept, tables and chairs were messy. Despite the quiet atmosphere and plenty of staff, the cleanliness of the place was disappointing. I had to return my cup of tea because it was as dirty as the floor. The food was decent, but the kids picnic box, priced at five pounds for half a ham sandwich, 20p crisps, apple juice, and a bruised apple, felt like a rip-off. The staff was okay, but overall, the restaurant needs a serious overhaul to improve its presentation.
When visiting moss bank park, we visited the cafe and it is ok for a quick drink or an ice cream. But on busy days especially when its sunny you can be waiting quite a while. They do sell hot and cold drinks, ice cream and ice lollys, and also hot and cold food. It is a useful cafe to have, but the cleanliness could do with being a bit better, dirty tables and floors etc. Also a couple of bigger signs to tell people not to smoke on the outside smoking area, its a bit hard to enjoy a drink or a snack when you've got Karen puffing smoke in to your childrens faces. Overall a nice cafe to have, could just do with a few small improvements.
We visited on a very cold day in December. My 3-year old enjoyed the park whilst my Gran and mum went into the cafe to warm up. The staff are always super friendly and it was nice to get a warm coffee out of the cold. Always worth a visit.
