Contribuiți la feedbackDelicious!! My fiancé and I are getting married here in the fall, so we went out for a date night. Shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked, and the sauce was full of flavor. We also got a salad that was full of fresh veggies. Highly recommend this place!
Stopped in for dinner tonight and was pleased to see our favorite server, Louise, was working tonight. We were seated promptly by the hostess and Louise was over to take our drink orders. For dinner we ordered meatballs in a meat sauce, veal parmigiana with linguine with a side salad and cheesy garlic bread. Our drinks arrived along with two slices of their regular garlic bread which was hot with plenty of butter and garlic. Salad was fresh with green pepper rings, grape tomatoes, and fresh crisp greens with a healthy serving of bleu cheese dressing. Meatballs were very large, well cooked and the sauce was very flavorful. The veal parm portion was very large, well fried and plenty of cheese. Linguine was cooked Al dente. Both the veal and pasta could have done with more sauce. The veal was tender and easily cut with a fork. The breading was light which was good given the size of the portion. The garlic bread was a little overdone and not really very flavorful. Overall the meal was very good and the service impeccable. There will most likely be a return visit sometime in the future.
The drinks were weak and priced at $13, and to top it off, I was served the wrong entree. The waitress didn’t come back to our table for at least ten minutes to check on us. When we asked to have the incorrect dish removed from the bill since we hadn’t eaten it and were ready to leave, they essentially refused and only offered us a 20% discount, amounting to about $5. They tried to make up for it by providing the missing ingredients in a to-go box, but at that point, it felt pointless since we were out for a nice dinner and had already spent nearly $30 on the entree. I don’t mind paying higher prices if the quality matches, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during this visit. I've been to this restaurant many times, but regrettably, this will be my last visit.
One of the staff members we recognized didn’t recognize our granddaughter at first until she saw us. Her reaction was priceless—her mouth dropped open because our granddaughter is now almost as tall as I am! She quickly scooped her up in a hug, and our granddaughter's face just lit up. The employees feel like family to us. The ambiance at Georgina's is delightful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, featuring lovely finishes like a gas fireplace, making it a perfect spot for date nights or gatherings with family and friends. They also have a substantial takeout business. Our granddaughter ordered her usual from the kids' menu, which is quite extensive compared to many places. She loves spaghetti with butter, and she appreciates that she can request it without the meat sauce. I opted for the chicken francaise, which came with garlic bread and a small salad—though the "small" salad was quite filling! I prefer my salad without extras, so our granddaughter enjoyed the tomatoes and cucumbers as her appetizer. She also loves to sneak a piece of my garlic bread, which is lightly toasted and thankfully doesn’t leave crumbs all over my clothes. It's flavorful without being overpowering. The chicken francaise was exactly as it should be, coated in a lovely egg batter that was fluffy and paired perfectly with the chicken cutlet—truly melts in your mouth. The sauce had a hint of lemon and was creamy, enhancing the chicken's flavor wonderfully. The linguine pasta was cooked to perfection, and I ended up bringing home almost half of my entrée due to the generous portions. My husband ordered a large pizza with sausage and pepperoni. The pizza crust was nicely done, similar to a hand-tossed variety, with just the right amount of chewiness. He loves the pizza here. Generally, I go for a chicken cutlet grinder, which is enormous and made on a large baguette—something like a gourmet sandwich. It’s loaded with breaded chicken, and I enjoy mine toasted with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. My husband has also enjoyed the chicken parmesan grinder here. Georgina's also offers banquet facilities and a full bar, so if the parking lot looks full, there might be a catered event or wedding happening.
We had an absolutely wonderful Easter brunch! Our server, Rachel, was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to meet our needs. She made our dining experience truly enjoyable. Not only did she perform her duties impeccably, but she was also a delight to chat with. We will definitely be returning and will be sure to request Rachel as our server!
