Contribuiți la feedbackI went to lunch with a friend. an Italian friend of mine who lived here, recommended this restaurant especially in bologna (also it won a cooking competition show in italy that I didn't know until we arrived in bologna.) we had a reservation at 1230 and before they opened, there was a line outside the people waiting to come in. when we entered, they checked the green pass and we sat. the staff was nice and there were about 3 waiters who cared for all tables. the food was excellent. I recommend the tortellini and the Ragù, also the black cheek was amazing. whole experience was good. at the end, I think that the staff was a bit overwhelmed and they forget to bring us caffè that we have ordered so that we have just left. but it is Italian that you get caffeine everywhere. they pay at the reception with the woman who works there, and it was a slight one-and-go out. I would come back. eating was too good, not.
If you want to taste the true Italian cuisine in a real Italian landscape, this is the place to go. the menu is perfectly balanced and professionally cooked, the wine selection is also great. highly recommended!
Creative dishes, classics with ideas, really helpful staff, everything was delicious. the trio of käseeis with cowardly jam was an excellent guide to the whole meal, as suggested!
Soou well I was there last week and I had the starter with cured meat (must in bologna) and gelato al formaggio, ravioletti, cotoletta alla bolognese and zuppa inglese. cured meat and ravietti would be the best choice in most restaurant in the uk where I live, although the cotoletta was the really spectacular after the best. also the Zuppa inglese was something incredible, super delicious.
Okay, don’t laugh, but we literally came here twice in the span of 24 hours, for both dinner and lunch. We didn’t plan to, but the food was so good we had to come on Sunday and try the lasagna as well! This is an authentic bolognese trattoria with traditional dishes that celebrate local products and produce. I’d recommend the cured meats selection, ragù and lasagna (which is ONLY served on Sunday lunch you must make a reservation), though everything we had was great. Their wine selection is also lovely and comprised solely of Emilia Romagna’s finest. The service was friendly, helpful, and gave good recommendations they even remembered our name when we came back and gave us the same table!
