Quanto Basta - BOLOGNA

I always leave Quanto Basta with a sense of satisfaction and good mood. They have all the Roman classics (cacio e pepe, etc) as well as a couple of more unusual things and all done as well as the better places in Rome. Wine list is good with options from all over Italy (including some from the region surrounding Rome which are not so easy to find). Service is courteous and warm, but not over-familiar or obsequious. Dining room is elegant but comfortable. Not pompous/snooty/stuffy. Prices mid-range, but I think very good value given the quality of the food. I have been going to QB for over 5 years and it has been very consistent over this time.

Simply holds a reputation for reason. One of the best restaurants one could experience from Italy, and one of the very best Bologna holds in its heart. If you ever get the chance to visit one of the most beautiful cities from the north, then this Rome influence cuisine is to be for sure a must. Be warned that you will find it a challenge to experience this delicious delight without pre-planning due to its sincere popularity. The service was nothing but a cheeky and charming warmth that is only expected from the best of Italian culture. The food plays foreplay with your tastebuds, that will only leaving you wanting more. The wine recommendations will tattoo into your mind for years to come.

This place was two minutes walk from our apartment so we decided to book here on our last night. Small place family run. The menu is Italian but the lady who took our order (the owner/chef's wife) spoke enough English to get us through it all. We were four and three had three antipasto to start and I had pasta. I had lamb chops for a main (no sides as is the norm in Italy) and the others has pasta. One bottle of wine and one dessert. The bill was 140 euros including 12 euro cover. OK and we would go again.

Un posto molto bello e accogliente e una grande cucina. provare assolutamente, prenotare per il tempo perché le tabelle sono poche.

Sono il miglior ristorante di Bologna. personale cordiale, ottimo cibo.
