Altotasso - BOLOGNA

There were almost only italians here. Really nice and cheap cocktails €4,50 for aperol spritz). They also have Nice local wines and serve chips and bread snacks. The bartender speaks great english

I can't speak for the food as I didn't have any, but if you want a wine bar to cozy up to after a long day, then Altotasso is the place for you! My friend and I paid 8 euros for a liter of wine and sat there for several hours enjoying the ambiance. It's in a great location, right next Piazza San Francesco and Via del Pratello where you have and abundance of options for food. Would definitely go back!

The Enoteca Altotasso is located in Piazza San Francesco in one of the most beautiful square of Bologna downtown. The Enoteca Altotasso is perfect for an aperitif at the sunset because you can see the sun going down on the nice church of San Francesco!! It’s nice also for drinking a beer outside in the summer nights!! If you go instead in the winter you can appreciate the enormous barrels full of wine!! I suggest to take croutons “crostini” in Italian) with a nice glass of wine. It’s very good the house’s wine but if you would like to save money I suggest to take a bottle of wine or a carafe of house’s wine!! It’s a lovely place and the prices are honest!!

I feel the people in. The site is little, bur has a good feeling.

The staff is very capable, professional and hospitable at any time.
