Sweet Kayle Soup Salad - Bolivar

The restaurant serves the freshest, most inventive sandwiches around. They also offer freshly baked desserts and a fantastic salad bar.

I have driven past this restaurant many times and finally decided to check out their social media. I was impressed by their posts, so I took my 7-year-old son the next day. I had high hopes, but unfortunately, I was let down. I ordered the special roast beef, but my bread was very hard. We ate in, but everything was served in plastic and Styrofoam, which felt wasteful. Even my soup was in a Styrofoam container with a plastic lid. I wasn't a fan of the Lay's chips served at a restaurant, and my son's sandwich was soggy. It did come with a nice side of fruit, but also Oreos, which I wasn't expecting. When the server said it came with cookies, I was thinking of a fresh-baked cookie, not a store-bought one.

The City of Bolivar community, including CMH medical staff, has a strong affection for this restaurant and its staff, as do I.

First time here and really enjoyed it. Good selection of options on the salad bar. The only negative things I have to say is the cut lettuce was REALLY big and the forks were flimsy.

Salad and toppings were fresh and delicious. Really enjoy making my own salad!
