Quaint establishment...seating was close quarters. Our table was dirty, so our waiter cleaned it, after he served our drinks. Food was good. Friendly staff.

Had a wonderful dining experience here. The owner, manager, and the servers were all very friendly, respectful, and prompt. The food was delicious, and the environment was warm, cozy, and inviting.

My partner and I stayed in Harper’s Ferry at the Lighthorse Inn bed and breakfast next door to this quaint little restaurant; it was Christmas Even and they stayed open for us, and we were so thankful for our delicious meal. Snallygaster is a sophisticated wine bar with the charm of a country general store. Highly recommended!

Delightful old cafe. We ate brunch on a Saturday here. The smoked salmon sandwich (smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomato, and capers) and the breakfast sandwich (fried egg, bacon, lettuce, and tomato) were delicious. So were the lattes. Wish we could stick around and come back in the evening to experience the wine bar or the full bar, but we’re on our way to Maryland. We did buy a few cans of local craft beers to take with us for later.

Very disappointing. Cute place . Staff was so nice and kind but it felt disorganized.We ordered an appetizer and our entrees And they brought everything at once, which was annoyingThe Brie appetizer was very good.But our dinner order was not . My tomato bisque was not a bisque it tasted like a jar canned puréed tomatoes very very sour.Presentation was good though,My husband’s pasta bolognese was just missing flavor and bland.We ordered a brownie sundae that was delicious and great presentation.They had people at the bar with dogs that kept barking loudly that made it hard to talk or hear.As we looked around we noticed the restaurant looked dirty and at the end of our dinner we noticed cockroach traps in the corner with shells which made a disappointing experience feel worse.Again that staff was very sweet and kind but it just felt disorganized.The restaurant has potential cute building and great location . However i don’t think we will go back at all.
