Waffle Me Up - Boise City

They have a vegan waffel, but it is smaller and not so good. even almost none of their toppings are vegan, even the erdnussbutter has honey in it. but with some top and maple syrup it is pretty good.

I really enjoyed the vegan waffel that I had with black current syrup and strawberry. oh and can not forget the keksbutter that I have read a few of the reviews before I came in and was a bit nervous, but it was really good, they need more options, although I feel like in the city boise will come slowly there, so I gave it 3 stars. Hopefully soon they will add more vegan toppings and meat substitutes.

They sell frozen vegan/gluten free waffel for just $1 to go a waffel (they can also have made it there) I am very cheap and would not pay $2 extra for a banana topping or $2 extra for it to be heated up. So I brought it home and handed it over with apples and mangle! the kerl worked new and not knowledgeable about vegan options. it is not a breakfast meal. it's full of sugar, I couldn't even finish mine. it is a delicious dessert or tasty!

I am pretty unimpressed with this place. If you are going to put a sign in the window saying, “vegan,” you should have meaningful options. They have a vegan and gluten free base waffle (not the regular waffle), but the only toppings you can put on are fruit and syrup. They literally have no protein options. Even their peanut butter has honey in it. Their only non-dairy milk option is almond. Eating here is like trying to eat vegan 10 years ago. They service is also exceptionally slow. I would not come here again.

Unique flavor. Yeasty, slightly sweet great offset to the savory flavor of egg and bacon. Hands down best Waffle joint I have been to.
