During a trip to Boise, we found ourselves conveniently located near High Note restaurant and had heard glowing reviews from our hosts. Intrigued, we decided to pay it a visit...
I believe that coming for lunch would be a better option. My experience at this restaurant for breakfast or brunch on a Saturday was not very impressive. The menu seemed to offer the same dishes.
I had the broccoli cheddar suppe, pesto sandwich, ceasar salat and habañero hominy quesadilla. the sandwich was good, though quite oily. salat was good. suppe was good. everything I liked to eat, but would not order again, especially for those who invite them. I was told that they made their own cheese for the queen, so I was pretty excited for it, but I absolutely hated it. the cheese was a solid block, not melted in any wise way. the rest of the quesadilla just fell apart, and in general it tasted just like a very oily, very expensive salt block. the dips with which it came have not added much taste, seemed like only liquid mayo. I really try to support all vegan companies, especially if there are not many in one area, but vegan foods can be so much better than this. Also, I tried to get out and was said there is an automatic 20% gratulation for ordering over $30. So I decided to just eat because I just ordered to save on drinking money. When I got the din in the sheck, I could choose what I wanted.
Many decisions on all herbal menus! personal super friendly, eating was excellent. cannot wait to return!
